Dennis Atkinson Jr holds a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern University in

orchestration and electronic composition and a Master of Music in Film Scoring

from Berklee College of Music.Grammy® nominated arranger and orchestrator.

Dennis a Philadelphia native, is a bona fide seasoned composer, orchestrator, and

music producer who excels in a myriad of styles that landed him countless

opportunities in various fields, such as film scoring, performances, compositions,

and arranging from small ensembles to full orchestras. ​

contemporary. His expertise is in Classical music, Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Contemporary,

and, Electronic music. When it comes to film composing, Dennis's unique

style of capturing the essence of a picture and applying the right notes to convey a

message perfectly makes him an invaluable asset in the industry.

Early Beginnings

Dennis started his career as a musician in a neighborhood church more than twenty-five years ago. Driven by passion and motivated by his fascination and sense of wonderment with the musical landscape, he continued to develop his craft, keeping his early musical influences close to his heart. Quincy Jones,  Dr. Steven Ford, and Johnny Mandel are some of the composers who influenced his early talent.
